About the IBPS Photo & Signature Resizer

An IBPS PO, Clerk or RRB form needs four separate files — photograph, signature, left thumb impression and handwritten declaration — each with its own dimensions and KB window. SBI PO and Clerk follow the same pattern. One file outside its window and the form stops you at upload. The resizer above prepares your photo and signature to the exact IBPS preset; the sections below cover the thumb impression and declaration. Specs checked October 2026 — always verify against your current notification.

IBPS Photograph Requirements

FormatJPG / JPEG only
Dimensions200 × 230 pixels
File Size20KB – 50KB
BackgroundLight, preferably white
PhotoRecent colour photo, full face clearly visible

Use a plain light wall and daylight, face filling most of the frame, no cap or sunglasses. IBPS checks this photo at the exam centre — it must look like you do now.

IBPS Signature Requirements

FormatJPG / JPEG only
Dimensions140 × 60 pixels
File Size10KB – 20KB
Paper & InkWhite paper, black ink
StyleRunning handwriting — NOT in capital letters

Sign exactly the way you will sign in the exam hall. IBPS is explicit: a signature in capital letters is not accepted. Sign boldly in black ink, photograph it closely, and resize the crop with the tool above.

IBPS Left Thumb Impression Requirements

FormatJPG / JPEG only
Dimensions240 × 240 pixels
File Size20KB – 50KB
Which ThumbLeft thumb, fully inked, on white paper

Press your left thumb on a black or blue ink pad, then roll it once onto plain white paper so the ridge pattern prints clearly — a smudged print is a common rejection reason. Photograph it straight, set 240 × 240 px with our Image Resizer, then set the size with Compress Image to KB.

IBPS Handwritten Declaration Requirements

FormatJPG / JPEG only
Dimensions800 × 400 pixels
File Size50KB – 100KB
LanguageEnglish, in your own handwriting
Paper & InkWhite paper, black ink, running hand (not capitals)

Copy this standard text exactly, in your own handwriting, with your name in the blank:

"I, _______ (Name of the candidate), hereby declare that all the information submitted by me in the application form is correct, true and valid. I will present the supporting documents as and when required."

The declaration is a handwriting sample IBPS can compare later, so it must be written by you — not a friend or a cyber café operator. Photograph it flat and straight, resize to 800 × 400 px with the Image Resizer and set the size with Compress Image to KB.

How to Resize Your IBPS Photo and Signature

  1. Choose the document type

Select Photo for your photograph, or Signature for your signature.

  2. Upload your image

Click the upload button and pick the JPG or PNG image from your phone or computer.

  3. Resize & compress

Press the Resize & Compress button. The tool sets the IBPS dimensions and compresses the file into the correct KB window automatically.

  4. Check the preview

Confirm the face or signature is sharp and clearly readable at the final size.

  5. Download and upload

Download the resized JPG and upload it to the IBPS or SBI application portal.

If the IBPS Portal Still Rejects Your Upload

Check the downloaded file first — its Properties should show JPG format and a size inside the window; candidates often upload the original by mistake. Signature in capitals or too faint? Re-sign more boldly. Broken thumb ridges? Make a fresh print with more ink. Declaration cut off? Re-shoot it fully inside the frame. Finally, rename files simply and retry in another browser.

Common IBPS Upload Mistakes

  • Signature in capital letters — IBPS rejects it outright.
  • Declaration typed or written by someone else — it must be your own handwriting.
  • Declaration in capitals — use normal running handwriting.
  • Right thumb instead of left — IBPS asks for the left thumb specifically.
  • Smudged thumb print — too little ink makes the ridges unreadable.
  • Dark photo background — use a plain light wall.
  • Uploading PNG files — all four uploads must be JPG/JPEG.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is the IBPS photo size and dimensions?
The IBPS photograph must be 200 × 230 pixels, between 20KB and 50KB, in JPG/JPEG format — a recent colour photo, face clearly visible, light background.
What is the IBPS signature size?
The IBPS signature must be 140 × 60 pixels, between 10KB and 20KB, in JPG/JPEG format. Sign in black ink on white paper in running handwriting — capital letters are not accepted.
What is the IBPS left thumb impression size?
The left thumb impression must be 240 × 240 pixels and between 20KB and 50KB in JPG format. Press your left thumb on a black or blue ink pad and then on white paper so the full thumb lines are clearly visible.
What should I write in the IBPS handwritten declaration?
Write this standard text in your own handwriting, in English (not capitals): "I, [your name], hereby declare that all the information submitted by me in the application form is correct, true and valid. I will present the supporting documents as and when required."
What is the IBPS handwritten declaration size?
The handwritten declaration scan must be 800 × 400 pixels and between 50KB and 100KB in JPG format. Write it yourself in black ink on white paper — written by someone else, or in capitals, it will be rejected.
Can I use this resizer for SBI PO and SBI Clerk forms?
Yes. SBI follows the same pattern as IBPS — photo 200 × 230 pixels at 20KB–50KB, signature 140 × 60 pixels at 10KB–20KB — so the same files work for SBI PO, SBI Clerk and IBPS applications.
Is my photo uploaded to a server by this tool?
No. The resizer runs entirely in your browser — your photograph, signature and documents never leave your device, and nothing is stored or shared.
Is the IBPS photo and signature resizer free?
Yes, it is completely free with no sign-up, no watermark and no usage limit, for all four IBPS uploads — photo, signature, thumb impression and declaration guidance included.
