How We Count
- Words: Split by whitespace (spaces, tabs, newlines). Hyphenated words count as one.
- Characters: Every Unicode character including spaces, punctuation, emojis
- Sentences: Split by sentence-ending punctuation (. ! ?)
- Paragraphs: Split by double line breaks
- Reading Time: Words Γ· 200 (average adult reading speed)
